After completing their courses, YAD usually conducts formal certification ceremonies for its students. Diplomas and ordinary certificates are awarded to students from all training faculties, including information and communication technology, tailoring/dressmaking, secretarial and office management, designing/printing technology, food and nutrition management, and hairdressing/cosmetology. YRA is fully recognized and approved by the government of Sierra Leone’s Ministry of Higher and Technical Education as a vocational and technical training institute that contributes to youth industrialization and middle-level manpower development in post-conflict Sierra Leone.
